Easiest Way To Open a Baby (Young Thai) Coconut

The other day I found a small treasure at the grocery store. They had young thai coconuts for only $1.49 each.

I even posted it on Instagram. It's pretty exciting to find coconuts at that price. But I decided to make a video to show you how easy it is to open a young thai coconut. Some people call them baby coconuts; that's the same thing.

You can watch the video below, after the image.

If you stack them in your fridge, you can interlock them and fit about 1/3 more than would normally fit.

Usually, if you can find the coconuts under $2.00 each then it's a great deal. This time we ended up buying 15 because it was such a good deal.

The way I open the coconut is really the smartest, easiest and most practical way to do it. It's the Coco Jack that does the trick really, and if you don't have one yet, then you need to get one.

This would be a great gift for the holidays coming up and even restaurants could use a few of these.
