Tremendous success. The Home Business Summit took place this weekend in San Diego. If you didn’t come, tsk tsk tsk. You missed out.
This is the second Home Business Summit and just like the previous one, it was jam packed with information. $97 for the ticket was nothing. I got to listen to some really sharp marketers explain their techniques.
I’ve learned several Facebook tips and tricks to run better and cheaper advertisements. Also, another topic that was driven home is what I’ve said before, you need to be in the right mindset.
This is for everything! When you’re in a sports team, you train together, you practice together you play together so you can win together. The coach is in charge, but everybody needs to be on board with the goals. If you don’t have every person with the right mindset, the whole team won’t do very well.
If you are a teacher, businessman, or even something like a mechanic. You need the right mindset so you can get results. If you go into your job with a negative attitude, with a negative demeanor then chances are your results will be negative as well.
It’s a lot about your mindset.
The Home Business Summit is an event put together by Matt LLoyd as part of the My Online Business Education. You might have heard me mention it before, so this is part of that. Even if you aren’t part of MTTB or MOBE, you can attend one of these sessions and simply have your mind blown with all the different topics covered by the experts.
Another thing that was very clear is that to advertise and market properly, you need paid traffic. You can’t do it well with free traffic if you don’t already have it. Paid traffic works, and if your offer converts then it should always be used. Free traffic is slow, off-target, and costs a lot of money based on your time.
The Home Business Summit took place in San Diego at the Hyatt Regency. Totally awesome and incredibly valuable. You need to make sure you attend the next Home Business Summit. I will be announcing it when I know more about the next one. Generally it will take place on a weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
