It could have been a dude… haha. I have no idea how to tell if its a female or male. But yeah I wanted to pet it. but since I was alone, I didn’t want to risk a mishap. What if it lounged at me and I tripped or something. it probably weighs close to a ton.

Luckily someone else showed up just before I left, that’s how I got that picture. Otherwise it would only have been the one with me behind it. I wanted to touch it but I knew better. Even though they are probably used to humans being around a lot, they are still wild and it could probably squish me if it wanted to. Plus I read that they are surprisingly fast even on land.
