That’s the thing. Companies need to stop being pushovers and pansies. Youtube should have stood up and protected their creators since most of the “offending” content wasn’t actually offensive. And the advertisers need to stop bending over to the whiny minority that complains about non-issues. —

Hopefully Vidme will continue in their monetization scheme which removes advertisers from the equation, although their beta ad system indicates that they are bringing in advertisers. We’ll see.

I just joined and followed you. It will be interesting to see how they handle the issue of censorship that the big guys are dealing with right now. It’s certainly an opportunity for them right now to gain market share. Time will tell how they handle censorship issues once they are faced with the large advertisers threatening to pull ad dollars for content.

I am going to check it out! YouTube is so saturated & their algorithm really doesn’t work for small channels. But this sounds like they care more about the creator.
