Thanks so much for sharing. I am rolling into week three come this Saturday. I hid under a golf cap and prescription glasses week 1. I normally wear my contacts all the time. Week two, I decided to loose the golf visors. Well I'm into week three and am tired of this. It is now like yours around the pupil where it relocated to after starting in the outside corner of one eye and is taking freaking forever to go away. My doc said about a week after week number 1. Bologna just like you said! My social life is somewhat on hold because I don't want people looking at me crazy. Couldn't hide it at work forever. I avoided direct eye contact as long as I could. I'm just frustrated but reading this more realistic story of yours is making me hold on.... Thanks!

Thank you so much for this!! It happened to me a few days ago, I read onlinr its harmless and bla, bla. But the blood looks like its expanding and I was freaking out. I'm glad to hear about your experience. It sucks that I have a job interview and I'll have to show up like this. I think in my case it was sneezing and too hard because I had a terrible cold when all this happened. Thanks again, very informative!

I have this exact same thing in both eyes right now, except the blood has covered about 80% of each eye. I go out, I get stared at. A few people LITERALLY ran away in fear...Some of my friends cant even look at me, others cant stop staring. The only one who ISNT acting weird about it is my tech teacher, who's had it before...At the moment, I feel more at ease around him than I do with my friends, simply because he doesn't stare, or look in disgust. He knows how it feels, and is being really great about it.

Hi Leigh, definitely the issue spread out for several days before it stopped. Then it was like that for a couple days before it started to subside. About 3 weeks later it was all gone, and no sign of that now.

Oscar, can I ask one question? My husband has this redness in one eye. It has been about 7 days and it seems to have spread from red to pink but is still there. You had mentioned your eyes got worse before they were better? Thank you.

Yeah mine kept getting worse and worse for a while, the whole thing took maybe 3 and 1/2 weeks. It was a bit uncomfortable too but then it just started fading away and now I'm back to normal. Hope it gets better soon for you. What do you think caused it?
