I too was a bit hesitant to do the 30 day cahllenge. It's tough indeed and I know some people will drop off. I hope I can make it to the end and then continue on. I'm inspired by John Chow and Chris Voss and some of my other friends that post content daily and have been doing it for a long time. This is almost not a challenge for them so I know it's doable if we just set our minds to it!

It's fun to hear you getting reinvigorated, Oscar - because that is exactly what you just did for me! I've been skimping by on 'once a week' posts, with a never-ending list of topics I want to write about. I just haven't made the time to do it.

The 30 day challenge is a big deal for me, as I don't normally commit to something unless I fully intend to follow through. I'm here, and I've committed - and I'm excited and a bit apprehensive. I see it as a very positive experience! I'm grateful to you for this connection.

Thanks, Oscar!

Cheers Alison! How long have we been talking about getting our butts in gear to crank out some blogposts!? So this is good timing and totally a great time for people to jump in and for us to practice. Definitely Iron sharpens iron and practice makes perfect. Looking forward to reading your post today!

I know! I feel the same way, just reading Jeff's post for example yesterday inspired 3 or 4 new ideas, same for yours and other people's. This is what blogging is all about and we tend to forget because it is a little more difficult for both parties. The writer has to spend time actually putting a string of thoughts together, and the reader needs to stop "multi-tasking" and read a post for a few minutes. Hopefully we all get to appreciate the art of blogging a little more throughout this challenge! I can't wait to read all of today's posts. And tomorrows... and so on!

Thank you Wendy. Again! great minds think alike. I definitely think being succinct is good but at times you have to let it flow. Unfortunately our closest friends and sometimes family tend to be the most critical. But just patience and perseverance will get you through! Thanks for your comment!

Iron sharpens iron. And we depend on each other to lift us up, don't we? A rising tide raises all ships. Thank you for day 1. So far so good!!

Thank you also for being a part of my recent blog post, too, because it renewed my love to connect like-minded peeps.

My fav, "...but your blog and your mind are much more valuable than any tweet..." Cheers!

Thanks Oscar.

The work you have put in on this is inspiring everyone. Were just getting started and yet I am being introduced to new sites that are absolutely fascinating. In fact, I can honestly say that reading the groups posts has increased the quality of my web surfing immensely.

I look forward to reading what is about to be published.

Oscar, your timing is perfect.

<>

Like you, and John, I believe that there are times when 140 characters just doesn't cut it. In fact, I have a theory that many people on the web get into arguments and focus on polar opposite opinions simply because they write in sound bytes.

I have been chastised by a few well-meaning friends for my long posts on FB. I get it, and they mean well, so I am doing my best to be more succinct. However, in some situations, you have to allow yourself the time and space to think critically. A blog is a perfect place to present your opinion, take time to flesh out your reasoning and start real dialogue.

I am so glad that you are back in the game and stronger than ever.
