Oh yeah, I thought you meant a specific one for video only. There used to be one but they stopped making it so it was affordable for users, I think they’re focusing on the enterprise market.

But for what you describe now, I would use Optinmonster they have an option for this as well.

The ones that I’ve tried for content locking include this: http://oglink.it/optinmonster Optinmonster and https://codecanyon.net/item/optin-panda-for-wordpress/10224279 Optin Panda, although they’re not specifically designed for video.

There used to be a video player that would take any video (vimeo, youtube, wistia) and add pre-roll content but they went out of business a couple years ago. I haven’t kept track of that since.

When I read the name of the plugin, I thought about a content-gate mechanism that asks for email before playing the video (a bit like the one from Brian Balfour here : http://www.coelevate.com/essays/customer-acquisition – it seems he is using Wistia for that).

Do you know if there is a free plugin for such thing on WordPress ?
