Another reason I like HostGator
When you add a new domain to your account, there is no crap about verifying the domain.
Why do hosts care anyway? All they need to do when adding a domain to your account is to let you add the domain, and if DNS sends someone to their site looking for a given domain that has been registered with them then serve up the page. Why all the hoopla!?
Thank you HostGator, thank you!
I love this because I can add domains quickly. It's useful because I can add a domain and start working on it BEFORE I need to redirect DNS (yes you can do that if you use your hosts file).
And yes, I can think of at least 3 reasons to do a verification prior to adding a new domain, but really they're all bogus so I won't even tell you about them.
