Happy New 2008

Sorry if you're reading this in RSS, for some reason it's getting reposted. -- Happy New Year 2008 to all of you. I hope this year brings you prosperity, good fortune, health and happiness.

To close out the year, I wanted to share some of my pictures.

My girlfriend and I took a little trip to Paso Robles, and we had a lot of fun. Tasted a lot of wine and enjoyed the area quite a bit. Here are some of the highlights.

Stairs to our room

This is the lobby at El Paso Robles Inn, very cool hotel. The service was great and even their restaurant was excellent. It's in old town so its close to pretty much everything and centrally located if you want to go wine tasting. I highly recommend it if you are going to visit the area. They also have free wine tasting deals if you ask.

At the end of the Tour IMG_0925.JPG

There is a cool guided tour at Eberle, and we definitely liked J.Lohr a lot.

Me next to it

I left early one morning to get some sunrise pictures and I found an elephant seal, check out some of the shots by clicking on that picture.

Other pictures you may be interested are below, and they vary across a lot of my interests. Hope you like them.

Happy New Year!

  1. the elephant seal is laughing at you! hahaha that is one of the coolest pictures I have ever seen!!!! 🙂

  2. Haha, thanks. It was really cool to be there. Luckily someone else showed up just before I left, that’s how I got that picture. Otherwise it would only have been the one with me behind it. I wanted to touch it but I knew better. Even though they are probably used to humans being around a lot, they are still wild and it could probably squish me if it wanted to. Plus I read that they are surprisingly fast even on land.

  3. wish i would have been there. You should have copped a feel man! she looks hot and ready to go! Fat chicks need lovin too.

  4. hahaha, you crack me up dude.

It could have been a dude… haha. I have no idea how to tell if its a female or male. But yeah I wanted to pet it. but since I was alone, I didn’t want to risk a mishap. What if it lounged at me and I tripped or something. it probably weighs close to a ton.

  5. I looked up some pictures after I commented to see if it was a bull or a female. I was curious myself… I think it’s a dude, the females didn’t have the big fuggin nose.

  6. yeah, good thing you didn’t touch it, it would have launched you into the ocean, and his or her friends would have launched you back out until they were done playing a mean game of beach volleyball.

  7. @Chava, looks like you are correct. females, and males

@Ursula. Hahahaha. kind of funny, kind of creepy.
