Oscar Gonzalez in the media.

Who says traditional media is dead? I used to... I was all gun ho about social media and personal one on one engagement. But I have learned a few things. One of them is that traditional media can co-exist with new media.

I learned this first about 3 years ago when I became "the tech guy" for a radio station show in the inland empire. I had a segment of 10-30 minutes where i would discuss social media, IT and other related topics.

Fast forward to today and I have made the transition into television. Yes! I am on TV. And I don't care what you say, but being on TV is pretty dam cool.

I appeared on episode 8 of On The Street with Robert Cardoza. Today I am on set to make my second and third appearance on the show.

The show is produced by Jump Studios in San Diego. The show has a pretty wide distribution but if you don't get it on your TV, you can watch it on Ustream.tv or on YouTube after the show airs on TV.

Here are a few pictures from today's shows. On the first episode I talked about cybersecurity and cyberattacks. The second episode was about branding, content distribution and social media. I will have some more links soon, with links to the shows, schedule and other interesting resources.
