Turn off Browser Desktop Notifications for Chrome

If you want to be on top of your social media activity, you have to have alerts turned on. In-app notifications, emails and SMS alerts are the most popular. I'm going to cover some of this in upcoming blogposts, but there is one type of alerts that is very useful, but can also get really annoying.

Browser desktop notifications

Websites are now asking for permission when you visit them to see if you want to receive alerts from them even when you're not on the website. This can be useful, but it can also be annoying and frustrating.

Here's a short video on how to turn those alerts off for a specific website, or how to disable them altogether. This is specific for Google Chrome.
